Ages 2–3

We believe all little ones can learn. Your child will receive age-appropriate teaching that includes a Bible story, song, craft, and playtime.

When you arrive

Someone will meet you at the door to receive your child and any necessary items. Let them know of any special needs your child has. You will be given a numbered tag that corresponds with the number on your child’s nametag. You will need this tag to check your child out at the end of service; and should we need to page you, your number will be displayed on the screens in the auditorium.

Saying good-bye

After checking in your child, say a quick good-bye. This works well for most children and does not prolong the transition. If your child cries for more than 10 minutes, we will page you to come and be with them or pick them up.

Checking on your child

Feel free to check on your child but be discreet so they do not see you. Children can get very upset when they see their parents before time for pick-up.

Snacks

We provide goldfish crackers and water for the children’s snack time... and absolutely no nuts!

Pick-up

Your child’s leader will expect the same person who drops them off to pick them up unless you have left different instructions. If it is not the same person, for security reasons, please have them be ready to show some identification. Be sure your child gathers all the things they bought with them.

There is no need to bring diapers to this classroom—we have pull-ups; but you may want to pack some dry clothes for the occasional accident.

We operate a well-child program; therefore, we cannot accept children who have a runny nose, fresh cold (4 days or less), fever, rash, cough, diarrhea, or other signs of illness.
