Biblical counseling is the application of biblical truth through a personal and relevant spiritual growth plan that strengthens the counselees relationship with Jesus Christ. The CPC counseling model considers the spiritual, social, psychological and physical needs of counselees as they work through current conflicts and seek to prevent future problems.
Biblical counseling is:
- God centered, acknowledging Gods goodness
- Bible centered, acknowledging the authority of Scripture
- Christ centered, acknowledging the sufficiency of Christ
- Holy Spirit empowered, acknowledging the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.
CPC Biblical counselors provide encouragement, insight, and biblical guidance to men and women during times of crisis, change or personal and family difficulties, by helping people find biblically based solutions to their problems. The ultimate goal of the ministry is to help counselees to develop a more satisfying relationship with Jesus Christ that fulfills their deepest needs and desires.

The CPC Biblical Counseling ministry is accountable to the Pastoral Staff and Elders of Central Peninsula Church who provide oversight, leadership and spiritual protection for the CPC Family.
There is no fee for CPC Biblical Counseling appointments.
Counselors receive direct oversight and ongoing training from the Pastoral Staff.
Day and evening appointments are available Monday through Saturday at the CPC Biblical Counseling Office in Foster City.
