 The primary goal of the Study Center is to teach and train God's people to become mature disciples of Jesus Christ. Overseen by our teaching pastor, Dr. Mark Mitchell, the Study Center seeks to provide classes, seminars, retreats and mentoring experiences where people can grow in their ability to think biblically about the Christian life and the contemporary world; grow in the cultivation of intimacy with God; and grow in their ability to serve the body of Christ effectively. The Study Center consists of two separate schools: the Discovery School and the Explorer School.
Discovery School
- The Discovery School consists of the core curriculum for everyone interested in making CPC their church home. It is made up of two classes designed to help integrate the newcomer and/or new believer into the life of the church. Each of these classes meets weekly for four weeks. These classes run continuously each quarter (except summer) and can be taken in any order.
Explorer School
- The Explorer School is open to all. It consists of a variety of classes and seminars that are chosen based on the current needs of the CPC body. Most of the classes will be offered in four week modules, meeting once a week for two hours.
